Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before placing an order.

Effective date: March 1, 2026  ·  Last updated: March 27, 2026

Summary: Snapfuneral is a casket retailer. We source from licensed wholesale suppliers and ship directly to funeral homes. By placing an order you agree to these terms in full.

1. About Snapfuneral

Snapfuneral (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an independent online casket retailer operating at snapfuneral.com. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an agent of any funeral home. We source caskets from licensed third-party wholesale suppliers (“Suppliers”) and arrange direct shipment to the funeral home designated by the customer.

Snapfuneral acts solely as a retailer and intermediary. All product manufacturing, quality assurance, and fulfillment is performed by our Suppliers. Snapfuneral is not a funeral home, funeral director, or licensed funeral service provider.

2. Eligibility & Acceptance

By placing an order on snapfuneral.com you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, legally authorized to purchase on behalf of yourself or a family, and that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not agree, do not place an order.

3. Orders & Pricing

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. An order is not confirmed until payment is successfully processed and you receive an order confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.

Snapfuneral is not responsible for pricing errors caused by typographical mistakes. In the event of a pricing error we will notify you and you may choose to proceed at the correct price or receive a full refund.

4. Payment

We accept payment via PayPal, major credit and debit cards, and Venmo where available. All transactions are processed securely through PayPal’s payment platform. By completing payment you authorize the charge to your selected payment method. Snapfuneral does not store your card or payment details.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Snapfuneral offers free standard shipping to any licensed funeral home in the contiguous United States (lower 48 states). We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or residential addresses.

FTC Funeral Rule: Under the Federal Trade Commission’s Funeral Rule (16 CFR Part 453), all licensed funeral homes in the United States are legally required to accept caskets purchased from third-party retailers and may not charge a handling fee for doing so. If a funeral home refuses delivery or attempts to charge a handling fee, you have the right to file a complaint with the FTC at ftc.gov.

6. Product Quality & Supplier Guarantee

All caskets sold by Snapfuneral are sourced from licensed wholesale suppliers who stand behind their products. Our primary Supplier offers the following quality commitments, which Snapfuneral passes through to our customers:

Snapfuneral’s liability is limited to the pass-through of Supplier remedies. Snapfuneral does not manufacture any products and makes no independent warranty as to product quality beyond what is expressly stated herein. Snapfuneral’s maximum liability to any customer shall not exceed the total amount paid for the order in question.

7. Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of funeral merchandise and the time-sensitive circumstances of each order, all sales are final once a casket has been shipped. We are unable to accept returns for:

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled for a full refund only if cancellation is requested before the Supplier processes the shipment (typically within 2–4 hours of order placement during business hours). To request cancellation, email info@snapfuneral.com immediately with your order ID.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If a casket arrives damaged in transit or is materially different from what was ordered, notify us within 24 hours with photographic evidence at info@snapfuneral.com. We will work with our Supplier to pursue a remedy. Snapfuneral does not guarantee a specific outcome but will act in good faith as an intermediary.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Snapfuneral and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your use of the site, or your provision of inaccurate delivery information.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on snapfuneral.com, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Snapfuneral or its licensors and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THESE TERMS, SNAPFUNERAL AND ITS SUPPLIERS MAKE NO WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS, OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.

SNAPFUNERAL DOES NOT WARRANT THAT CASKETS WILL BE DELIVERED ON TIME, THAT DELIVERY WILL BE ACCEPTED BY THE FUNERAL HOME, THAT PRODUCTS WILL BE FREE FROM DEFECTS, OR THAT ANY REMEDY WILL BE AVAILABLE OR SUCCESSFUL. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS DISCLAIMER APPLIES TO ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE PURCHASE OR USE OF PRODUCTS.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SNAPFUNERAL'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO A PURCHASE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY THE CUSTOMER FOR THE ORDER IN QUESTION. IN NO EVENT SHALL SNAPFUNERAL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, COST OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS, OR CLAIMS ARISING FROM: (A) DELIVERY DELAYS OR FAILURE; (B) FUNERAL HOME REFUSAL TO ACCEPT A CASKET (EVEN IF IN VIOLATION OF THE FTC FUNERAL RULE); (C) PRODUCT DEFECTS OR QUALITY ISSUES; (D) YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY INFORMATION ON OUR WEBSITE; OR (E) ANY OTHER USE OR INABILITY TO USE PRODUCTS PURCHASED THROUGH SNAPFUNERAL.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IF ANY PART OF THIS LIMITATION IS FOUND TO BE UNENFORCEABLE, THE REMAINDER SHALL REMAIN IN EFFECT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration, conducted in English, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

BY USING THIS SITE, YOU WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY AND THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION. Any claim must be brought within one (1) year of the event giving rise to the claim.

14. Binding Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to these Terms, your use of snapfuneral.com, or the purchase of products (“Dispute”) shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration administered by JAMS (Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services) under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures, or if JAMS is unavailable, by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

The arbitration shall be conducted in Sheridan County, Wyoming or, if you prefer, by videoconference. You and Snapfuneral agree to submit to binding arbitration instead of pursuing litigation in court. BY AGREEING TO ARBITRATION, YOU ARE WAIVING YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND YOUR RIGHT TO BRING A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.

Each party shall bear its own attorneys' fees and costs; however, Snapfuneral will pay the JAMS or AAA filing fee if you initiate arbitration for a claim under $10,000. The arbitrator may award any relief that would be available in court under applicable law.

Notwithstanding the arbitration requirement, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent misappropriation, infringement, or violation of intellectual property rights.

15. Class Action Waiver

YOU AGREE THAT ANY ARBITRATION SHALL BE CONDUCTED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS ONLY. YOU MAY NOT BRING A CLASS ACTION, COLLECTIVE ACTION, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION AGAINST SNAPFUNERAL, NOR MAY YOU PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION AGAINST SNAPFUNERAL. EACH ARBITRATION MUST BE CONDUCTED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS, AND THE ARBITRATOR IS PROHIBITED FROM AWARDING CLASS-WIDE OR AGGREGATE RELIEF.

16. One-Year Claim Limitation

Notwithstanding any applicable statute of limitations, any claim, action, or proceeding arising from or relating to a purchase must be initiated within one (1) year from the date of the cause of action, regardless of when you become aware of the claim. Any claim not brought within one year shall be permanently barred.

17. Changes to These Terms

Snapfuneral reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting to snapfuneral.com. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
